Ms. Gloria J. McRae, 77, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, July 29, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Mobile, AL on Wednesday, October 3, 1945 to Reginald Dewey McRae and Hattie B. McRae. She was a member of Winchester Church. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Education. She taught for the Wayne County School System at Buckatunna School. She retired as a technician at Exxon Mobile. Ms. McRae is preceded in death by her father, Reginald Dewey McRae. She is survived by her mother, Hattie B. McRae; devoted friend and care giver, Darlene Evans, both of Waynesboro, MS; a host of cousins and friends. A Graveside Service for Ms. McRae will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Winchester Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tom Walker officiating. Interment will be in Winchester Cemetery.
