Mr. Glen A. Sanderson, 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, June 23, 2024, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Monday, May 10, 1943, to the late Roan W. and Lucille Sanderson. He was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. He retired from the Oil Field and Carpentry.

Mr. Sanderson is preceded in death by his parents, Roan W. and Lucille Sanderson; five brothers, Alvin Troy Sanderson, W. R. Sanderson, Foye Sanderson, Rick Sanderson, and Robert Sanderson; two sisters, Minnie Reed, Carrie Shows, and Faye Nell Thompson. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Linda Sanderson; son, Lonnie Sanderson (Amanda); daughter, Gayla Sanderson, all of Waynesboro, MS; four grandchildren, Brantley Sanderson, Leah Warren (Matt), Dillan Rush, and Dalton Rush; two great grandchildren, Finleigh McInnis and Alleigh Kate Warren; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Sanderson will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Glen Bynum officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
