Mrs. Gladys Oree Henderson, 83, of Clara, MS passed from this life Friday, February 10, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Perry County, MS on Thursday, July 27, 1939 to R. C. Phillips and Myrtle Phillips. She was a devoted member of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church. She was retired as a Supervisor at Northern Electric Company. Mrs. Oree is preceded in death by her father, R. C. Phillips; mother, Myrtle Phillips; daughter, Annette Henderson Jones; sister, Gay McDonald. She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles Henderson, Clara, MS; daughter, Carla Mozingo (Calvin), Clara, MS; four grandchildren, Joshua Jones (Miranda), Clara, MS, Jammi Stevison, Clara, MS, Heather Guin (Tommy), Austin, TX, Will Mozingo, Clara, MS; five great grandchildren, Sam Jones, Jaleigh Jones, Charlie Jones, Kiley Stevison, Aubrey Ana Stevison, all of Clara, MS; four sisters, Shirley Dykes, Richton, MS, Garcia Hutto, Robbie Mills, both of Clara, MS, Ardena Ellzey, Biloxi, MS. Visitation for Mrs. Oree will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, February 13, 2023 at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church, 2290 Highway 63 South, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Trinity Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Jarrod Vanderslice and Rev. Gerald Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Trinity Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers are David Dykes, Marlyn Dykes, Pete Cooley, Danny Mills, Duane Mills, and Benny Walley.
