Mr. Gerald Edwin Walley, 79, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, November 20, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, January 23, 1943 to Aden Walley and Colea Walley. He was a member of Trinity First Baptist Church. He was a Veteran and served in the United States Army. He retired as a Stager at Masonite Corporation. Mr. Walley is preceded in death by his father, Aden Walley; mother, Colea Walley; two brothers, Glennis Walley, Kenneth Walley. He is survived by his wife, Betty C. Walley; son, Paul Walley; daughter, Frances Holifield (Kervin); sister, Marion Brown, all of Waynesboro, MS; five grandchildren, Daltan Walley, Kenzie Walley, Jadin Henderson, Hannah Lord (Shawn), Haley Williams (Will); three great grandchildren, Lexie Lord, Maddie Lord, Izzie Lord. Visitation for Mr. Walley will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Friday, November 25, 2022 at Trinity First Baptist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 25, 2022 at Trinity First Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Richard Bradley and Jerry Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Trinity First Baptist Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
