Mrs. Geneva Stewart, 88, of Millry, AL passed from this life Monday, September 30, 2024, at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, September 13, 1936, to the late Rev. James A. and Suzy Pugh Holland. She was a member of New Beginnings Family Church. Mrs. Stewart is preceded in death by her husband, Joe D. Stewart; parents, Rev. James A. and Suzy Pugh Holland; four brothers, Wilford Holland, Chester Holland, David Holland, and Robert Holland. She is survived by her two daughters, Regina Gant (Wayne) of Millry, AL and Melissa "Lisa" Currie (Rev. Bo) of Chunchula, AL; three brothers, Charles Holland (Pat) of Saraland, AL, James Holland (Ann) of Creola, AL, and Bobby Holland of Saraland, AL; sister, Esther Howell (Bill) of Saraland, AL; 7 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Stewart will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, October 4, 2024, at Copeland Assembly of God Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, October 4, 2024, at Copeland Assembly of God Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Ronnie Morris, Rev. Charles Holland, Rev. Terry Lee Hartley, and Rev. Bo Currie officiating. Interment will be in Stewart Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Copeland, AL. Pallbearers are D. W. Gant, Jr., Joseph Gant, Andrew Currie, Christopher Currie, Patrick Currie, Nicholas Currie, Blaine Gant, and Blake Gant.
