Mr. Gaylon D. Crager, 65, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, January 20, 2023 at his residence in Frost Bridge, MS. He was born in Oakland, OR but he grew up in State Line, MS on Saturday, December 21, 1957 to the late Elmer "Tony" Crager and Elizabeth Kelly Crager. He was a member of Isney Baptist Church. He was retired as a Pipe Welder. Mr. Crager is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer "Tony" Crager and Elizabeth Kelly Crager; brother, Gary Crager. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Joyce Crager of Waynesboro, MS; son, Brannon Crager (Michelle) of Sandhill, MS; two daughters, Kelly Jordan (William) of Semmes, AL, Gaylena Sharp (Ty) of Waynesboro, MS; two brothers, Larry Crager (Brenda), Tony Doyle Crager (Kay), both of State Line, MS; five grandchildren, Zackary Crager, Miley Mae Crager, Thomas Jordan, Colin Sharp, Abigail Sharp; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Crager will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, January 23, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Chris Freeman officiating. Interment will be in Isney Cemetery in Isney, AL.
