Mr. Garett Ryan Pitts, 25, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, December 29, 2024, in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, December 14, 1999, to Ryan Pitts and Tezzra Cook. He was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. He worked as a Construction Worker.

Garett is survived by his father, Ryan Pitts (Lakita) of Waynesboro, MS; mother, Tezzra Cook of Buckatunna, MS; two brothers, Kaleb Pitts and Braxton Pitts (Kali); sister, Paige Beck (Trey); grandparents, Ginger Pitts Cooksey, Dorothea Clements, all of Waynesboro, MS, and Rodney Thames of Buckatunna, MS; aunts and uncles, Erik Cooksey (Heather), Dustin Cooksey (Celeste), Israel Thames, Casey Ainsworth, and Kathy Pittman; two nephews, Tavaid Beck and Bayne Beck; a host of great aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation for Garett will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at West Shady Grove Baptist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 2, 2025, at West Shady Grove Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Trey Beck and Dr. Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
