Mr. Freddie Walters, Sr., 67, of Waynesboro, MS passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at his residence, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, March 25, 1956 to Freddie George Walters and Marie Smith Walters. He served in the United States National Guard. He retired from the Chevron Corporation after 35 years as a Mechanical Specialist. He enjoyed hunting and farming. Mr. Freddie is preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Ann Walters; father, Freddie George Walters; sister, Joyce Davis. He is survived by his mother, Marie Walters, Waynesboro, MS; son, Freddie Walters, Jr., Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Felicia Kelly (Brady), Waynesboro, MS; brother, Leonard "Bo" Walters (Shirry), Waynesboro, MS; sisters, Jean Stennett, Waynesboro, MS, Helen Davis (William), Muscle Shoals, AL, Linda D'Auteuil, Gulfport, MS; grandchildren, Cole Walters (Mikayla), Allison Mills (Grant), Katelyn Walters, Brayton Kelly, Anna Jaye Kelly; great grandchildren, Colten Walters, Layne Walters, Wyatt Walters. Visitation for Mr. Freddie will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Friday, December 1, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, December 2, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Ryan Powers officiating. Interment will be in Shirley Cemetery. Pallbearers are Brent Palmer, Lance Palmer, Toby Cooley, Michael Rigney, and Dusty Rigney.
