Mr. Franklin Donald "Don Don" Hemeter, Jr., 54, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, September 30, 2022 at his residence in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Wednesday, March 27, 1968 to Franklin Donald Hemeter, Sr. and Florence A. "Toni" Hemeter. He was a member of Waynesboro First United Methodist Church. He worked as a Farm Manager on his family farm. He loved tending to his livestock, being outdoors, his USM talk shows on the radio, and his interest in all Military History. Mr. Hemeter is preceded in death by his mother, Florence A. "Toni" Hemeter; paternal grandparents, Paul and Bessie Hemeter; maternal grandfather, Nolan Clark; maternal grandmother, Vera Clark. He is survived by his father, Franklin Donald Hemeter, Sr.; sister, Stephanie Hemeter; brother, James Scott Hemeter (Dana); nephew, Braxton Hemeter all of Waynesboro, MS. Visitation for Mr. Hemeter will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Monday, October 3, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, October 3, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Steven Bruns officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Jamie Heathcock, Javier Diaz, William Windham, Greg Freeman, Gary Freeman, Dr. Steve Gardner, Bill Baker and Tim Hollingshead.
