Mr. Forrest A. Bonner, 82, of Clara, MS passed from this life Monday, June 10, 2024, at Greene Rural Nursing Home in Leakesville, MS. He was born in Buckatunna, MS on Thursday, August 7, 1941, to the late Arthur Roshae and Pearlie (Guy) Bonner. He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church and served numerous rolls. He retired as a Toolpusher at ODECO. After retiring he became a bus driver for the Wayne County School System in Clara, MS. Mr. Forrest will always be remembered by his family as a loving and devoted husband, daddy, pawpaw.

Mr. Bonner is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Roshae and Pearlie (Guy) Bonner; daughter, Stacey Julie (Bonner) Henderson; two brothers, Melvin R. Bonner, Nolan A. Bonner; four sisters, Mildred Jones, Quida Mae Holifield, Eunita Holley, Dot Burford. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Bonnie Louise Bonner; two sons, Shannon Bonner (Bettina), Sheldon Bonner (Nickley); daughter, Sherry Cook (C. A.), all of Clara, MS; nine grandchildren, Shandi Bradley (Jeff) of Millry, AL, Lindsay Gardner (Michael) of Buckatunna, MS, Savannah Bonner of Clara, MS, Brittany Frasier of Waynesboro, MS, Taylor Bonner (Brendie) of Buckatunna, MS, Darron Cook of Clara, MS, Shara Beasley (Joseph) of Sand Hill, MS, Mandy Reeves (Adam) of Clara, MS, Catlin Duvall (Brooke) of Chattanooga, TN; two step grandchildren, Kayla Henderson, Caleb Henderson (Nichole), both of Clara, MS; 19 great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mr. Bonner will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, June 14, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 14, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Bo Bankston and Rev. Paul Harris officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
