"First Lady" Dawn Suggs, 56, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Sunday, August 11, 2024, at her residence with her loving husband, son, and family by her side. She was born in St. Louis, MI on Tuesday, November 28, 1967, to the late Richard and Marilyn Jean Livesay.

She was self-employed and owned her own cleaning service, cleaning homes and businesses. Sis. Dawn followed the love of her life Rev. Donny Suggs over 35 years ministering the gospel and love of Jesus Christ in many churches and camps meetings. She loved playing the piano and singing about her savior. She ministered at many women's retreats and conferences.

Sis. Dawn is preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Marilyn Jean Livesay; two beautiful daughters, Tamara and April Suggs; sister, Lisa Smith. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Rev. Donald Ray Suggs; son, Miles Suggs; Goddaughter, Jacquie Hillman (Preston); brother, John Livesay (Tina); two sisters, Beth Livesay and Julie Livesay; God-Grandchildren, Sarah Havard, Ben Havard, Jack Hillman, and Allie Hillman.

Visitation for Sis. Dawn will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM with a lie-in-state from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Thursday, August 15, 2024, at MacClenny Church of God, 164 North 6th Street, Macclenny, FL 32063 with Rev. Eddy Sullivan, Rev. Junior Long, and Rev. Harold Hanks officiating. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery in Macclenny, FL.
