Mr. Eugene Becton, 93, of Millry, AL passed from this life Monday, June 26, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Washington County, AL on Friday, October 25, 1929 to Emory Becton and Lillie Mae Becton. He was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.  He retired as a Supervisor at Washington County, AL Road and Bridge. Mr. Becton is preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Aline Becton; father, Emory Becton; mother, Lillie Mae Becton; two brothers, Jackie Becton, James Donald Becton; grandson, Chad Conner; great granddaughter, Arizona Holyfield; great-great grandson, Grayson Tate. He is survived by his son, Mitchell "Mickey" Becton (Nancy), Millry, AL; two daughters, Bobbie Nell Taylor (Joe), Waynesboro, MS, Gayle Harper (Mark), Quitman, MS; brother, Clatis Becton (Sammie Kay), Millry, AL; 12 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; 10 great-great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Ann Becton, Jackie Becton, both of Millry, AL. Visitation for Mr. Becton will be held from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Monday, June 26, 2023 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Monday, June 26, 2023 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Giles, Rev. James West, and Rev. Mike Chatham officiating. Interment will be in Guy Cemetery in Millry, AL. Pallbearers are Mitchell Becton, Steven Holyfield, Brooks Conner, Dustin Dearmon, Tommy McIlwain, Ricky Sullivan, James H. West, and Seth Becton.
