Mrs. Emma Lou Richardson, 77, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, April 24, 1944 to Frank Arnold and Mary Kathryn Arnold. She was retired from Walmart where she worked as a Cashier. She made many friends through her years there and was loved for her friendly outgoing personality. Mrs.Emma truly never met a stranger; she was not ashamed to show her love for you, nor to say "I Love You".  Mrs. Emma is preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Frank Richardson; father, Frank Arnold and mother, Mary Kathryn Arnold; son, Cecil William Richardson; daughter, Mildred Theresa Stokley; brother, Sammy Arnold; and sister, Annette Arnold. She is survived by her son, Kim Eric Stokley (Jose Romero), Snellville, GA; daughter, Sheba Kathleen Wisdom (James E. Waites), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Carolyn Faye Cochran, Waynesboro, MS; six grandchildren, Jason Allen Stokley, Christopher Charles Cochran, Bridget Amanda Cochran, Courtney Leann Richardson, Chelsie Richardson, Kelsie Richardson; and five Great Grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Emma will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, August 20, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will follow at 2:00 PM Friday, August 20, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Drew Holifield officiating. Interment will be in Old Yellow Creek Cemetery.
