Mr. Edward Malone, 90, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, June 10, 1932 to the late Jessie and Zelline Malone. Mr. Malone served in the United States Army National Guard. He was a member of Lee's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He was retired from the oil field, where he helped with the construction of oil rigs as an Equipment Operator. Mr. Malone is preceded in death by his wife, Georgia Bell Malone; parents, Jessie and Zelline Malone; son, Jerry Malone; two brothers, Leroy Malone, G. W. Malone. He is survived by his three sons, Thomas Edward Malone (Jewel), Jessie Carl Malone (Teresa) both of Waynesboro, MS, Darrell Malone (Kimberly) of Crystal Springs, MS; three daughters, Priscilla Davis (Peanut), Amy Malone both of Waynesboro, MS, Greta Dailey (Charlie) of Buckatunna, MS; brother, J. W. Malone of Waynesboro, MS; five sisters, Sallie Mae Holifield of Raymond, MS,  Zelline Williams of Waynesboro, MS, Jessie Mae Welford of Hattiesburg, MS, Grady Sue Jones of Buckatunna, MS, Linda Sue Wilson of Azle, TX; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Malone will be held from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Lee's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Lee's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tommy Davis and Rev. Tedlen Pittman officiating. Interment will be in Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
