Mr. Edward J. "Eddie" Lombas, 75, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, August 30, 2025, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in New Orleans, LA on Saturday, January 21, 1950, to the late Armond J. Lombas, Sr. and Lillian Sadie Lombas. He retired as a television repairman at Dixie Jet Electronics. Mr. Lombas is preceded in death by his parents, Armond J. Lombas, Sr. and Lillian Sadie Lombas; brother, Armond J. Lombas, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Rosalyn "Roz" DeMoll Lombas of Waynesboro, MS; two daughters, Bridget Evans (Lanny) of Violet, LA and Jennifer Laine (Andy) of Prairieville, LA; nine grandchildren, Stephanie Anderson (Blake), Melody Asevedo (Danny), Zachary Adams, Nicholas Adams, Logan Laine, Victoria Laine, Matthew Evans, Blake Evans, and Jace Evans; five great grandchildren, Elliott, Kinslei, Phoenix, Rylee, and Ashton. Visitation for Mr. Lombas will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, September 12, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, September 13, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Charles Allbrooks officiating. Interment will be in Boykin Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
