Ms. Edna Earl Hendren Goode, 80, of State Line, MS passed from this life Friday, March 29, 2024 at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Lucedale, MS on Sunday, February 6, 1944 to Earnest Woodie Smith and Bertie Lee Smith. She worked as a Crown Maker at AllenTrophy Shop for over 25 years. Ms. Goode is preceded in death by her father; Earnest Woodie Smith, mother; Bertie Lee Smith, a son; Phillip Eugene Hendren, four brothers; E.W. Smith, Floyd Smith, Clifford Smith, and David Smith, a sister; Maggie Lucille Smith, and her granddaughter Jessica Jordan. She is survived by her two daughters, Annice Jordan (Donald), of Waynesboro, MS and Charlotte Renee Gardner (Chuck), of State Line, MS, her son; Timothy Charles Hendren, of State Line, MS, two brothers; James Smith and Frank Smith, both of Lucedale, MS, five sisters, June Seaman of Moss Point, MS, Geraldine Snelgrove of Lucedale, MS, Helen Allen of Petal, MS, Evelyn Davis of Denham Springs, LA, and Wanda Havard of Leakesville, MS; five grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. Graveside Services will be held at State Line Cemetery at 11:00AM Tuesday, April 2, 2024 with Rev. Michael Stevenson officiating.
