Mr. Eddie Arnold Myrick, 82, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Thursday, March 26, 2026, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born in Jones County, MS on Saturday, March 4, 1944, to the late William Henry Myrick and Lillian Pryne Myrick. He retired after 40 years working as a truck driver for Beard's Feed Store. After retiring from Beard's, he began a second career with DBI working there for another 14 years.

Mr. Myrick is preceded in death by his parents, William Henry Myrick and Lillian Pryne Myrick; four brothers, William Myrick, Sr., Henry D. Myrick, Bobby G. Myrick, and Woodrow Myrick; sister, Madge Myrick Walters. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret Harrison Myrick of Laurel, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mr. Myrick will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Shirley Place Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Robert Scruggs officiating. Interment will be in Shirley Place Cemetery in Wayne County, MS. Pallbearers are Stephen Harrison, David Harrison, Jason Harrison, Alex Harrison, Tony Harrison, and Blake Taylor.
