Mr. Eddie Lamar Lindsey, 71, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, June 3, 2022 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, July 30, 1950 to John Lindsey and Vivian Lindsey. He was a member of Center Ridge Baptist Church in Quitman, MS. Mr. Lindsey served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He had worked as an Operator for Wayne County Beat 3 Supervisors. Mr. Lindsey is preceded in death by his father, John Lindsey; mother, Vivian Lindsey; daughter, Pamela Lindsey; brother, Larry Lindsey. He is survived by his wife, Helene Lindsey, Waynesboro, MS; two sons, Sean Richards (Kimberley), Tyler, TX, Nicholas Lee Richards (Susan Cook), Pulaski, TN; two daughters, Paula Lindsey, Pensacola, FL, Amanda Lindsey, Waynesboro, MS; brother, Danny Roy Lindsey, Isney, AL; six sisters, Dale Eaves, Nelda Davis (Robert), Mary Reaux (John), all of Waynesboro, MS, Brenda Manning (Edward), Dennis, MS, Barbara Gandy (Mike), Waynesboro, MS, Beverly Lindsey, Carmichael, MS; 11 grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Lindsey will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, June 6, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Lloyd officiating. Interment will be in Center Ridge Cemetery in Clarke County, MS.
