Mrs. Earline Strickland, 87, of State Line, MS passed from this life Tuesday, June 25, 2024, at Providence Hospital in Mobile, AL. She was born in Fruitdale, AL on Sunday, January 24, 1937, to the late Earl and Thelma Williams. She was a member of State Line First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Strickland is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Thelma Williams; son, Van Earl Strickland; brother, Albert Williams; sister, Voncile Brewer. She is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Van R. Strickland of State Line, MS; two sons, Leon Strickland (Glenda) of Buckatunna, MS, Dwayne Strickland (Krystal) of Fernley, NV; three daughters, Patricia Crager of State Line, MS, Anita J. Davis (Dee) of Waynesboro, MS, Rhonda Strickland of Millry, AL; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation for Mrs. Strickland will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, June 28, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Michael Stevenson officiating. Interment will be in Johnson Creek Cemetery in State Line, MS.
