Mrs. Earlene D. "Lois" James, 86, of Millry, AL passed from this life Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Union County, AR on Tuesday, June 29, 1937, to Robert Earl Perry, Sr. and Radie Perry Herrington. She was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. She retired as a beautician. Mrs. Lois loved to quilt, paint, and to do mission work. Mrs. James is preceded in death by parents, Robert Earl Perry, Sr. and Radie Perry Herrington; two sisters, Edith Cornell, Peggy Hogan. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Henry James of Millry, AL; three sons, Bobby James of Semmes, AL, Michael James, Richard James (Dennise), both of Millry, AL; brother, Robert Earl Perry, Jr. of Milton, FL; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. James will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Mike Chatham and Rev. Scott Giles officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL.
