Mrs. Drucilla Gatlin, 89, of Ocean Springs, MS passed from this life Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Lighthouse Assisted Living in Ocean Springs, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, September 3, 1935 to Andrew Douglas and Evie Mills. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Mrs. Gatlin is preceded in death by her beloved husband Talmadge Gatlin; father and mother, Andrew Douglas and Evie Mills Douglas; her daughter, Tommie Carol Carlisle; five brothers, Robert Douglas, William Douglas, Tommie Douglas, Herman Ed Douglas, Ira Douglas; and two sisters, Gladys Baygents and Janie Taylor. She is survived by her son, Hollie Carlisle(Becky), Gautier, MS; three daughters, Evie Carlisle, Waynesboro, MS, Frances Carlisle, Waynesboro, MS, Donna Keech(Joe), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Patsy Cochran; 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Percy Reid, Andrew Adams, Justin Hutcherson, Ethan Freeman, Justin Coxwell, Chris Carlisle, and honorary pallbearer, Cooper Coxwell, Dayden Hutcherson, and Jeffree Millican. Visitation for Mrs. Gatlin will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Monday, June 16, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. L. C. Cochran and Rev. Phillip Gandy officiating. Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens Cemetery, in Waynesboro, MS.
