Mrs. Dorothy Neil Gibson Hendry, 96, of Millry, AL passed from this life Thursday, July 22, 2021 at Washington County Nursing Home in Chatom, AL. She was born in Aliceville, AL on Monday, November 17, 1924 to Newton Randolph Gibson and Thelma Cook. She was a member of Millry Baptist Church. She worked as a Shipper at Cam Manufacturing in Chatom. Mrs. Hendry is preceded in death by her husband, David P. Hendry; father, Newton Randolph Gibson; mother, Thelma Cook; daughter, Patsy Bergalowski; brother, John T. Gibson; three sisters, Olga Robinett, Bonnie Junkin, Linda Cabiness; granddaughter, Sheri Rishel. She is survived by her son, Ronnie Hendry (Donna), Millry, AL; four grandchildren, Scott Hendry (Kristin), Shane Hendry (Erica), both of Millry, AL, Shanna Pulley (Andy), Highlands Ranch, CO, Stanton Hendry (Kelli), Millry, AL; 14 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild. Graveside Services for Mrs. Hendry will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL with Bro. Scott Giles officiating. Interment will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Millry, AL.
