Mrs. Donna Lynn Jones, 65, of State Line, MS passed from this life Monday, August 30, 2021, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, June 8, 1956. She worked as a correctional officer at South Mississippi Correctional Institution in Leakesville, MS. Mrs. Jones is preceded in death by her stepfather, Kenneth Dail; stepsister, Kendra Coxwell; grandson, Dalton Mashburn. She is survived by her loving husband, James Pryne, State Line, MS; mother, Omera Dail, Buckatunna, MS; son, Jeffrey Mashburn (Eula), New Orleans, LA; daughter, Merry Deemy, Ellisville, MS; step son, Gabe Valasco, Grand Rapids, MI; two brothers, Kevin Dail (Suzonne), Waynesboro, MS, J. T. Dail (Clarise), Buckatunna, MS; sister, Janet Jones (Jimmie), Waynesboro, MS; two step sisters, Patricia Madison (Eric), Gulfport, MS, Cindy Sullivan (Joe), San Antonio, TX; nine grandchildren. A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
