Mr. Donald Thomas Cooley, 64, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, October 28, 2024, in Dozier, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, August 2, 1960, to the late Thomas Ledger Cooley and Bonnie Mae (Kirkland) Cooley. He worked as Co-Owner and Operator of River Road Construction.

Mr. Cooley is preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Ann Cooley; parents, Thomas and Bonnie Cooley; brother, James David Cooley. He is survived by his son, Brantley Jones of Laurel, MS; daughter, Courtney Parnell (Alex) of Port Saint Lucie, FL; three brothers, Dennis Cooley (Mary) of Quitman, MS; Terry Cooley, and Lamar Cooley, both of Houma, LA; sister, Connie Butler (Clayton) of Sumrall, MS; two grandchildren, Titus Jones and Vincent Jones; beloved pet, Mimi.

Visitation for Mr. Cooley will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 31, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, November 1, 2024, at West Cemetery in Clara, MS. Interment will be in West Cemetery in Clara, MS.
