Ms. Dixie Jo Jordan, 56, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, AL. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Tuesday, May 9, 1967, to Joe and Dixie Lee Cooper. She was a member of Buckatunna First Baptist Church. Ms. Dixie Jo is survived by her parents, Joe and Dixie Lee Cooper; son, Kerby Joe Jordan; daughter, Kensey Lee Jordan; father of children, Daron Kerby Jordan; two grandsons, Cason Lee Jordan and Cooper Freeman Jordan, all of Buckatunna, MS; beloved aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation for Ms. Dixie Jo will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Terry Williams and Rev. Jim Koen officiating. Interment will be in Buckatunna Baptist Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
