Ms. Detrich Lynn Stanley, 65, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, September 25, 2023 at Regency Hospital-Meridian. She was born in Waynesboro on Sunday, November 3, 1957 to Lewis E. "Pete" Stanley and Jimmie Carolyn Kirkland. She was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. She worked as an Office Clerk. Ms. Stanley is preceded in death by her father, Lewis E. "Pete" Stanley. She is survived by her mother, Jimmie Carolyn Kirkland, Waynesboro, MS; daughter, Ashley Pitts (Jerry), Waynesboro, MS; two sisters, Shelia Freeman, Waynesboro, MS, Tammy Raines (Bill), Baton Rouge, LA; two grandchildren, Jon Michael Pitts, Emily Pitts, both of Waynesboro, MS; two nephews, Chad Stanley, Waynesboro, MS, Conner Raines, Baton Rouge, LA; two nieces, Natalie Davis (Mark), Shubuta, MS, Haley Raines, Baton Rouge, LA; great nephew, Kade Davis (Brook), Shubuta, MS; great niece, Presley Davis, Shubuta, MS. Visitation for Ms. Stanley will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Dr. Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will be in Clear Creek Cemetery in Shubuta, MS. Pallbearers are Jerry Pitts, Jon Michael Pitts, Mark Davis, Kade Davis, Chad Stanley, Bill Raines.
