Mrs. Delores "Lois" Wright, 86, of Millry, AL passed from this life Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Washington County Hospital in Chatom, AL. She was born on Saturday, February 20, 1937, to the late William and Mary Cresmen. She was a member of Midway Assembly of God Church and attended Yarbo Assembly of God Church.

Mrs. Wright is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Billy Wright; parents, William and Mary Cresmen; brother, Bill Cresmen; five sisters, Mattie Eskridge, Mildred George, Helen Whitley, Nita Agent, Dorothy Adcock. She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Morris (Rev. Greg); granddaughter, Amy Morris, both of Millry, AL; grandson, Rev. Matthew Morris (Ashley) of Brundidge, AL; two great grandchildren. Emmalyne and Zeke Morris; special friend, Bobbie Lynn Little of Crowder, MS; a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Wright will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at Midway Assembly of God Church, 12608 County Road 34, Saint Stephens, AL 36569. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, with a lie-in-state from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, January 28, 2024, at Midway Assembly of God Church in Saint Stephens, AL with Rev. Lamar Chapman, Rev. Douglas R. Chapman, and Rev. Matthew Morris officiating. Interment will be in Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Jeremy Wright, Justin Overstreet, Logan Overstreet, Mitchell Deas, Shane Carpenter, and Tyler Dykes.
