Ms. Delores Ann (Owens) Schwab, 72, of Millry, AL passed from this life Monday, March 20, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Yazoo City, MS on Monday, February 12, 1951 to the late Reese Dillard Owens, Sr. and Gladys Laurine Owens. She was retired as a Correctional Officer for the Mississippi Department of Corrections in Leakesville, MS. Ms. Schwab is preceded in death by her parents, Reese Dillard Owens, Sr. and Gladys Laurine Owens; brother, Reese Dillard Owens, Jr.; sister, Mary Theresa Goodwin. She is survived by her daughter, Erica McIlwain Hendry (Shane); three grandsons, William Gage Hendry, Owen Beaty Hendry, Jameson Holt Hendry, all of Millry, AL; granddaughter, BrieAnna Harper of Anna, TX; two nieces, Jennifer Lynn Goodwin of Hot Springs, AR, Reesa Marie Goodwin of Monroe, LA. A Memorial Service for Ms. Schwab will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 15, 2023 in the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS.
