Mr. David Bill Ross, Jr., 77, of Monroeville, AL passed from this life Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, September 30, 1944 to David Bill Ross, Sr. and Mary (Holt) Ross. He was the Founder and Owner of David's Catfish House. Anyone who knew David could attest to his love and passion for David's, it's employees and most of all its customers. He often lovingly referred to David's as his legacy. David was a great man and an amazing father and he will be missed dearly.  Mr. David is preceded in death by his father, David Bill Ross, Sr.; mother, Mary Ross. He is survived by his wife of 57 Years, Sadie Bell Ross, Monroeville, AL; two daughters, Brooke Ross Richardson (Trevor), Greenville, AL, Karen Ross Hare (Chris), Monroeville, AL; son, Benson Ross (Shannon), Loxley, AL; brother, Donald Ross, Waynesboro, MS; grandchildren, Ross Hare (Margaret), Tripp Richardson, Taite Watson, Nate Richardson, Maley Ross; nephews, Holt Ross, Mason Ross, Grant Ross. Visitation for Mr. David will be held Saturday, February 05,2022 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home, 1911 S. Alabama Avenue, Monroeville, Alabama. On Sunday, February 6, 2022, a Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Serenity Gardens Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Mark Ferguson officiating.
