Mr. David Eddie Newcomb, 79, of Shubuta, MS passed from this life Thursday, February 23, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Corinth, MS on Thursday, January 13, 1944 to J. E. Newcomb and Lena Beatrice Newcomb. He was retired as a Supervisor for Shelby County. Mr. Newcomb is preceded in death his parents, J. E. and Lena Beatrice Newcomb; brother, Kenneth G. Newcomb; sister, Carol Lynn Newcomb; sister-in-law, Frankie Newcomb. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Pearlie Belle Newcomb; son, David Allen Newcomb; daughter, Laurie Kathleen Newcomb; step son, Jan Keith Smith (Bobbie); step daughter, Vicki Dianne Manning (Chris); two brothers, Ron Newcomb (Paula), Billy Newcomb (Patricia); two sisters, Cindy Smart, Katherine Beckman (Jackie); five grandchildren, Jacob Allen Newcomb, William Manning, Ethan Manning, Thomas Smith, Talena Smith.
