Mr. David Leroy Hutchinson, Jr., 71, of Laurel, MS passed from this life Saturday, November 27, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Laurel on Thursday, September 21, 1950. He was retired as a Toolpusher in the Oilfield. He served in the United States Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam Era and a recipient of The Purple Heart. Mr. Hutchinson is preceded in death by his father, David L. Hutchinson, Sr.; mother, Doris Hutchinson; granddaughter, Makayla Dearman. He is survived by his two daughters, Margaret Hutchinson Tiner (Jacob), Laurel, MS, Crystal Hutchinson, Wayne County, MS; two brothers, Thomas Dale Hutchinson, Kenneth Wayne Hutchinson; sisters, Elizabeth Busby, all of Wayne County, MS; four grandchildren, Jacob Ferguson, Christopher Gavin Dearman, McKinley Walker, Madalyn Blue; the mother of his children, Jeanette Easterling, Laurel, MS. Graveside Services for Mr. Hutchinson will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Salem Cemetery in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Aaron Cooley officiating.
