Mr. David Carr, 68, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, April 19, 2026, at his residence. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, July 13, 1957, to the late Rev. Alton and Margaret June Carr. He retired as owner and operator of David Carr Logging.

   Mr. Carr is preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Alton and Margaret June Carr; two brothers, Curtis L. Carr and Terry Carr. He is survived by his two sons, Chris Carr of Waynesboro, MS and Andrew Carr (Amanda) of Shubuta, MS; special niece, Liz Carr of Biloxi, MS; five grandchildren, Jayla Carr (Josh), Kaydence Carr, Mekhi Carr, Alex Carr, and Andrew Carr; two great grandchildren, Adalynn Eidson and Madalynn Eidson; special friend, Kim Hutchinson of Waynesboro, MS; nephew, Jeremy Carr of Fairfield, CA; two great nephews, Ryan Carr and Clarence Carr.

   A Graveside Service for Mr. Carr will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 20, 2026, at West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS with Dr. Stephen Smith officiating. Interment will be in West Shady Grove Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
