Mr. Darrell Lamar Singley, 72, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born in Butler, AL on Friday, April 7, 1950, to the late Eber and Ida Mae Singley. He was retired as a Seismic Driller at Tideland Energy Resources. Mr. Singley is preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Singley; parents, Eber and Ida Mae Singley; sister, Ella Rene Hyatt; grandson, Tucker Brumley. He is survived by his two daughters, Lori Ann Ordoyne (Casey), Brittany Evans Eidson (Matt) both of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Cheryl Abston of Silas, AL; five grandchildren, Destin Brumley, Tayler Ordoyne,  Madison Ordoyne, Jordan Evans, Cheslie Evans; two step grandchildren, Kassidy Eidson, Baleigh Eidson all of Waynesboro, MS; great grandchild, Carter Brumley of Millry, AL. Visitation for Mr. Singley will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, July 1, 2022, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2022, with a Lie-In-State from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Chapparal Baptist Church in Wayne County, MS with Rev. Clay Conner officiating. Interment will be in Chapparal Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS.
