Mr. Daniel Hall "Paw Paw" Kidd, 77, of Brandon, MS passed from this life Monday, October 10, 2022 at his residence. He was born in Los Angeles, CA on Thursday, August 16, 1945 to the late Robert Alvin Kidd, Sr. and Doris Ruth (Hall) Kidd. His battle with medical issues related to Parkinson's showed his courage in facing life with a smile and never complained. Despite the challenges Daniel always displayed a positive attitude and stayed strong until the end. Mr. Kidd served in the United States Army National Guard for 34 years and was a Veteran of Desert Storm (Gulf War). He worked as a Prison Guard at South Mississippi Correctional Institution. Mr. Kidd is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Alvin Kidd, Sr. and Doris Ruth Kidd; son, Jason Kidd; daughter, Kimberley Hudson Hopkins. He is survived by loving wife of 27 years, Willie Dean Kidd; daughter, Karol Lynn Bostic (Craig); two brothers, Robby Kidd (Martha), Joe Kidd; sister, Patricia Mosley; six grandchildren, Daniel Kidd, Christopher Bostic, Deanna Bostic, Heather Jordan (Josh), Haley Walley (J. T.), Hallie Hopkins; five great grandchildren, Breeze Jordan, Izayah Jordan, Krimzyn Jordan, Hazel Walley, Harper Walley. Graveside Service for Mr. Kidd will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS with Rev. Curtis Cain officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation (parkinson.org).
