Mr. Daniel Hollinghead, 72, of Leakesville, MS passed from this life Monday, November 7, 2022 at Leakesville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Leakesville, MS. He was born in Washington County, AL on Monday, July 24, 1950 to Ernest Hollinghead, Sr. and Viola Hollinghead. He had worked as a Self-employed Farmer. Mr. Hollinghead is preceded in death by his father, Ernest Hollinghead, Sr.; mother, Viola Hollinghead; son, Glenn Hollinghead; four brothers, James Hollinghead, Fred Hollinghead, Harold Hollinghead, Ernest Hollinghead, Jr.; three sisters, Pearl Dearmon, Sue West, Betty Smith. He is survived by his three sisters, Velma Hollinghead, Chatom, AL, Dollie Blount, Waynesboro, MS, Diane Smith (Billy), Millry, AL. Visitation for Mr. Hollinghead will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Steve Watts officiating. Interment will be in Sandridge Cemetery in Millry, AL.
