Mr. Daniel Clay "Dan" Pearce, 81, of Millry, AL passed from this life Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Mobile Infirmary Medical Center in Mobile, AL. He was born in Montgomery, AL on Monday, August 4, 1941 to the late Willie Clay and Glendyne Pearce. He was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church. He graduated from Southern Miss with a bachelor's degree in education. He was a Teacher and Coach at Alba High School and Satsuma High School. He retired as a production supervisor at Ciba-Geigy Corporation in McIntosh, AL.

Mr. Dan is preceded in death by his wife, Judith "Judy" Pearce; parents, Willie Clay and Glendyne Pearce; brother, Sammy Pearce.

He is survived by three sons, Daniel Clay "Moose" Pearce, II (Dina) of Leroy, AL, Eric George of Huntsville, AL, Ryan Pearce (Kelly) of Auburn, AL; daughter, Michelle Holston (Scott) of Millry, AL; brother, William "Jim" Pearce (Mary Kay) of Tanner Williams, AL; sister, Cherrie Wood of Millry, AL; ten grandchildren, Dusty Faith, Trey Pearce, Anna Pearce, Jacob Holston, Mason Holston, Brandon Holston, Erica George, Zachary George, Jack Pearce, Noah  Pearce; great Grandson, Cooper Scott Holston.

Visitation for Mr. Dan will be held from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, Millry, AL. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Millry, AL with Rev. Scott Giles and Rev. Mike Chatham officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Cemetery in Millry, AL.
