Obituary

   Mr. Damond Driggers, 48, of Millry, AL passed from this life Saturday, June 13, 2026. He was born in Newton, MS on Monday, January 16, 1978. He worked as a drilling supervisor for Chevron Corporation and had strong work ethics. He will always be remembered as a loving, caring and supportive husband, dedicated father and a devoted son that always took care of his mama. He was a friend to anyone, and a gun enthusiast that loved the outdoors. His proudest achievement was his family. He was a friend to all and a giver to so many.

   Mr. Driggers is preceded in death by his brother, Bubba Driggers; grandparents, Larry Truax, Peggy Driggers, David Driggers, Barbara Truax-Reed, Virginia Mills and Budgie Mills; great grandparents, Carl Hudson and Kate Hudson; two aunts, Lori Mills Mozingo and Luana Newman; uncle, Rodney Truax. He is survived by his loving wife, Sathira Larasati; two sons, Brett Driggers and Byron Driggers; mother, Donna Truax Mills; father, Greg Mills; sister, Ashley Waite (Randall); aunts and uncles, Linda Truax, Donna Mills, and Debra Wilkerson (Brad); nieces and nephews, Kennedi Anderson (Cole), Brandon Driggers, Braedon Waite, Annah Claire Waite, and Brody Waite; special cousins, Erica Wilkerson, Jolie Crow (John David), Garrett Wilkerson (Aryn), Dave Driggers, Kristen Mills, and Shaina Henderson.

   Visitation for Mr. Driggers will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS 39367. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Mark Guy officiating. Interment will be in White House Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Barry Millican, Benny Walley, John David Crow, Ryan "Jack Rabbit" Miller, Braedon Waite, and Cole Anderson.
