Mrs. Daisy B. Brewer, 97, of State Line, MS passed from this life Friday, April 14, 2023 at Greene County Health and Rehab in Leakesville, MS. She was born in State Line, MS on Saturday, January 16, 1926 to the late J. A. and Spicy Griffin. She was a member of Johnson Creek Baptist Church. Mrs. Brewer is preceded in death by her husband, James Brewer; parents, J. A. and Spicy Griffin; son, Kenneth Brewer; brother, Sonny Boy Griffin; four sisters, Kathryn McCulley, Helen Hartley, Arcola McIntosh, Johnnie McLain. She is survived by her two sons, Donnie Brewer (Barbara) of Waynesboro, MS, Phillip Brewer (Suzanne) of State Line, MS; three granddaughters, Tonya Saul (Barry) of Laurel, MS, Crystal Brewer, Michelle Price (Clifton); step grandson, Chris Reed (Erica), all of State Line, MS; 6 great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Brewer will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday, April 17, 2023 at Johnson Creek Baptist Church, State Line, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, April 17, 2023 at Johnson Creek Baptist Church in State Line, MS with Rev. Dr. Victor R. Chatham officiating. Interment will be in Johnson Creek Cemetery in State Line, MS.
