Mrs. Connie L. Cooley, 71, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Sunday, October 24, 2021 at Jasper County Nursing Home in Bay Springs. She was born in Waynesboro on Sunday, July 30, 1950 to Coleman Nevell Lindsey and Grace Lindsey. She was a member of Abundant Life Church. She had worked as a Secretary. Mrs. Connie is preceded in death by her father, Coleman Nevell Lindsey; mother, Grace Lindsey; brother, Roy Harmon. She is survived by her son, Gerry Cooley (Janet), Hattiesburg, MS; daughter, Lindsey Beal (Jimmy), Waynesboro, MS; sister, Gladys Dempsey, Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Darian Sims (Alex), Gabriel Cooley, Isabella Pitts, Aidan Beal; one great grandchild, Cassie Sims. Visitation for Mrs. Connie will be held from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Maynor Creek Cemetery with Dr. Andy Olson officiating. Interment will be in Maynor Creek Cemetery.
