Mr. Clifford Harold Cooley, 86, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Saturday, December 3, 1938, to the late Columbus "Tip" and Estelle Cooley. He was a member of Corinth Freewill Baptist Church. Retiring from Wells Lamont after working for 37 years as a machine operator. He worked for 10 more years with the Clara School District and finally retired a second time going home to enjoy his life with the love of his life Minnie Lee Cooley.

Mr. Cooley is preceded in death by his loving wife, Minnie Lee Cooley; parents, Columbus "Tip" and Estelle Cooley; brother, Clinton Cooley. He is survived by his two sons, Danny Cooley (Venessa) and David Cooley (Tracy); daughter, Sheila Sharkey (Rex), all of Waynesboro, MS; seven grandchildren, Rashae Edwards, Colby Cooley, Channing Cooley, Ragan Beasley, Reid Cooley, Colton Sharkey, and Savannah Boyd; 11 great grandchildren, Talon Cooley, Maylen Cooley, Maddox Cooley, Cayden Grace Beasley, Remi Claire Beasley, Ryker Bagley, Mary Maecyn Edwards, Charlie Kate Cooley, Beck Cooley, Cheston Grant Sharkey, and Stevie Rae Boyd.

Visitation for Mr. Cooley will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Jarrod Vanderslice, Rev. Michael Cooley, and Rev. Randy Cooley officiating. Interment will be in Corinth Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
