Ms. Christine Williams, 84, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Poplar Springs Nursing Center in Meridian, MS. She was born at home in southern Wayne County, MS on Friday, July 31, 1942, to the late Arnold Claudis Cooley and Grace Aretha Cooley. She retired as a Beautician/Barber for many years in the Waynesboro area.

   Ms. Williams is preceded in death by her father, Arnold Claudis Cooley; mother, Grace Aretha Cooley; six brothers, H. T. Cooley, Aldean Cooley, John Cooley, S. V. Cooley, W. C. Cooley, and Mitchell Ray Cooley; 4 sisters, Virginia Mills, Myrtle Cunningham, Jewel Cooley Hucklebee, and Margaret Cooley; Son-In-law, Harold Avery Pitts.

   She is survived by her sister, Glenda C. Brewer (Stanley) of Clara, MS; son, Trent Williams (Dana) of Alabaster, AL; daughter, Lisa Pitts of Waynesboro, MS; grandchildren, Breanna Kern (Brian), Nicholas Williams (Lily), Makayla Meinhardt (Caity), Levi Pitts (Meg), and Hannah Johnson (Johnny); great grandchildren, Evelyn, William, Victor, Eli, Payson, Sutton, Blayke, Levi Thomas, Logan, Wiley, Ounde, Riley, and Caleb (Anna); great-great grandson, Houston; a host of nieces and nephews.
