Mrs. Christie Deese, 43, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Mobile, AL on Monday, January 16, 1978, to Robert and DiAne Wilkinson. She attended Flat Branch Assembly of God Church in Millry, AL. Mrs. Deese is preceded in death by her mother, DiAne Wilkinson; son, Nathan Salter. She is survived by her husband, Brad Deese of Buckatunna, MS; father, Robert Wilkinson of Mayodan, NC; three sons, Alex Deese of Waynesboro, MS, Chris Salter, Austin Salter (Emma) both of Buckatunna, MS; daughter, Rylee Deese of Buckatunna, MS; three sisters, Ashley Berry (Bruce) of Atlanta, GA, Nickie Jones of Mayodan, NC, Bobbie Barnett (Jr.) of Neely, MS; three grandchildren, Austin Salter, Stoney Salter, JoHannah Deese; a host of other family and loved ones. A Memorial Service for Mrs. Deese will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the family residence, 1974 Buckatunna/Chicora/Clara Road, Buckatunna, MS 39322.
