Mr. Chester Fred Andrews, 82, of Buckatunna, MS passed from this life Sunday, January 5, 2025 at his residence. He was born in Wayne County, MS on Friday, May 8, 1942 to Shelton Clancey Andrews and Rosa Belle Andrews. He was a member of Progress Assembly of God Church. He served 24 years as Beat 2 Supervisor for the Wayne County Board of Supervisors. Mr. Fred is preceded in death by his first wife, Shirlene Andrews, father, Shelton Clancey Andrews; mother, Rosa Belle Andrews; three brothers, two sisters. He is survived by his wife, Vermel Andrews; two sons; Kevin Andrews(Michelle), John Andrews (Dorothy); daughter, Kelli Andrews Jarrett (Mike), all of Buckatunna, MS; 17 grandchildren, Tuezday Doby (John), Jonathan Platt (McKensey), Brooke Scarbrough (Steven), Annabelle Andrews, Ches Andrews, Courtni Bingham (Lonnie), Natasha McCarty (Chad), Savannah Rogers (Bradley), Ethan Reynolds (Kaitlyn), Andrew Bowles, Luke Bowles, Jacob Bowles, Rivers Jarrett, Christian Jarrett (Alex), Madison Sentress (Ian), Jillian Jarrett, Carla Laneaux; 20 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Fred will be held from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Ray Odom officiating. Interment will be in Lewis Chapel Cemetery in Buckatunna, MS.
