Mr. Charles Smith, 64, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at University of Alabama- Birmingham (UAB) in Birmingham, AL. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, November 1, 1957 to Albert Carley Smith and Bonnie Louella McLain Smith. He was a member of Lee's Chapel Freewill Baptist Church. He worked as a Food Service Manager at Summit Food Service. Mr. Charles is preceded in death by his father, Albert Carley Smith; mother, Bonnie Louella Smith; three brothers, Carley Smith, Paul Smith, James Smith; two sisters, Bonnie Cherry, Penny Lee. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Smith; daughter, Shawmayne Smith; godson, Caden Walley all of Waynesboro, MS; brother, Mark Timothy Smith of Foxworth, MS; a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mr. Charles will be held from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Friday, February 25, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Tedlen Pittman and Rev. Frank Henderson officiating. Interment will be in Lee's Chapel Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Bobby Walley, Ben Walley, J. T. Walley, Devin Walley, Corban Walley, Judd Stevens, and Steven Bostick.
