Mrs. Charlene Holifield Ryals, 64, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Saturday, February 11, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, April 10, 1958 to Charley Holifield and Pauline Holifield. She was a member of Free Will Fellowship Church. She worked as a Florist at Maxine's Florist. Mrs. Charlene is preceded in death by her father, Charley Holifield; mother, Pauline Holifield; brother, Wayne Holifield; two sisters, Sarah Jean Holland, Sandra Rowland. She is survived by her husband, Roger E. Ryals, Waynesboro, MS; three son, Brian Philyaw, Hewitt, NJ, Darrell Philyaw, Trent Philyaw, both of Waynesboro, MS; five brothers, Charles Holifield, Lafayette, LA, Benny Holifield, Waynesboro, MS, Jerry Holifield, Sandersville, MS, Roger Holifield, Ricky Holifield, both of Waynesboro, MS; two sisters, Laverne Hudson, Pat Odom, both of Waynesboro, MS; seven grandchildren, Braxton Philyaw, Hunter Philyaw, Dawson Philyaw, Trinity Philyaw, Jayla Philyaw, Maddi Philyaw, Sarah Philyaw; 3 great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Charlene will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating. Interment will be in Waynesboro Cemetery.
