Mrs. Cathy Jo (Davis) Maroney, 66, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, January 8, 2024, at Regency Hospital-Meridian in Meridian, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Thursday, August 1, 1957, to the late G B and Joan Davis. She worked as a pharmacy technician at Wayne General Hospital.

Mrs. Maroney is preceded in death by her parents, G B and Joan Davis. She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, David Maroney of Waynesboro, MS; son, Keith Maroney (Haley) of Auburn, AL; two grandchildren, Hadley and Hudson; brother, Tony Davis (JoAnn) of Lucedale, MS; two sisters, Lynn Noland (Bobby) of Sweet Water, AL, Martha DeSantis (Guy) of Frannie, WY; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

The family will receive friends and family for Mrs. Maroney from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS.
