Mrs. Carolyn Marie Cartwright, 71, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, December 23, 2022 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Sunday, July 22, 1951 to the late L. G. and Lillian Collins. She was retired as a Fire Fighter for Mississippi Forestry Commission. Mrs. Cartwright is preceded in death by her husband, Rollon Cartwright; parents, L. G. and Lillian Collins; brother, Mitchell Collins. She is survived by two sons, Ricky Cartwright (Jeanean), Michael Cartwright (Carmen); brother, Joe Collins (Mechelle), all of State Line, MS; four grandchildren, Caleb Cartwright, Chloe' Cartwright, Paige Lewis (Brant), Zack Cartwright; great grandchild, Chesley Kate Lewis; special and devoted friends, Bill and Pat Hair. A Graveside Service for Mrs. Cartwright will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, December 30, 2022 at Cartwright Cemetery in State Line, MS with Rev. Deke Cochran officiating.
