Mr. Bruce Doherty, 75, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Monday, September 23, 2024, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. He was born in Waynesboro, MS on Friday, January 21, 1949. to the late David Marshall and Audrey Jordan Doherty. Mr. Doherty was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. He retired as operator of Doherty Farms. He loved his family and loved his God. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and growing flowers. He never met a stranger and always had a story to tell. He walks in sunshine now. Mr. Doherty is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Faye Doherty; two daughters, Jada D. Doherty and Hayley D. Stewart (Michael), all of Waynesboro, MS; beloved granddaughter; beloved grand puppies, Sweetie and Brownie. Visitation for Mr. Doherty will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Clear Creek Cemetery in Shubuta, MS with Rev. Chase Bedwell officiating. Interment will be in Clear Creek Cemetery in Shubuta, MS.
