Ms. Brenda E. Gordon, 70, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Friday, May 23, 2025, at Wayne General Hospital in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Waynesboro, MS on Monday, August 30, 1954, to the late Vivian and Cecil Gordon. She was a member of Community Southern Methodist Church and a lifelong member of the Women's Missionary Society. She retired from Wayne General Hospital after working over 50 years as an LPN.

Ms. Gordon is preceded in death by her parents, Vivian and Cecil Gordon; sister, Cecilia Stringer. She is survived by two brothers, George Gordon (Dianne) and J. B. Gordon; sister, Melissa Mason (Ronnie), all of Waynesboro, MS; Brother-In-Law, Buck Stringer of Bay Springs, MS; nine nieces and nephews, Gene'o Gordon, Brian Gordon, Diana Gordon, Ryan Mason, Miriam Mason, Meredith Mason, Archie Stringer, Melanie Lewis, and Kevin Stringer; a host of great nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Ms. Gordon will be held from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home, 1305 Skyland Drive, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, May 26, 2025, at Freeman Funeral Home in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Roger Douglas officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Methodist Cemetery in Wayne County, MS.
