Mrs. Brenda Gale Cochran, 81, of Waynesboro, MS passed from this life Thursday, July 7, 2022, at her residence in Waynesboro, MS. She was born in Laurel, MS on Wednesday, March 12, 1941, to the late Woodie Stone Clanton, Jr. and Pauline Clanton. She was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. She was retired as Owner and Operator of Cochran's Grocery. Mrs. Cochran is preceded in death by her husband, B. L. Cochran; father, Woodie Stone Clanton, Jr.; mother, Pauline Clanton; two sisters, Carol Baston, Penny Clanton. She is survived by her children, Billy Cochran, Jr. (Kaye), Colleen Foxworth (Roy), Timmy Cochran (Tina), Paula Fulkerson, Dawn Jenkins (Rev. Phillip); brother, Duane Clanton of Waynesboro, MS; sister, Rhonda Womack of Pensacola, FL; 16 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren. Visitation for Mrs. Cochran will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church, Waynesboro, MS. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church in Waynesboro, MS with Rev. Phillip Jenkins and Rev. Austin Jenkins officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery in Waynesboro, MS. Pallbearers are Chase Cochran, Klinton Cochran, Justin Jenkins, Brandon Fulkerson, Jonathan Foxworth, Jeremy Cochran, Tyler Cochran, Channing Walker, and Treston Cochran. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church.
